Special teams played great but we HAVE to kick it through the end zone. Only a matter of time before we lose a game due to this. Big Ben needs to be a HUGE factor on Saturday!! GO Tigers!!!

While I would tend to agree, we have been favored in every game this year. But got to bring that fire and win the turnover margin!

If the Tigers can eliminate the turnovers, then CU will win by 10. Each TO will be worth about 7 points...either in lost opportunity for our O, or by their scoring. I agree with the poster above about pundits predicting the upset all week long. The Tigers will use this as fuel. Had the boys held onto the ball yesterday...they'd of easily won by 14+.

...and being completely objective, Gamecocks could have beat us yesterday if they had an above average QB. The trend lines are not in our favor. UNC is peaking. In contrast, our defense has seriously struggled against Syracuse and USC and the number of offensive turnovers has been trending up.
Early on, Dabo was saying that "The next game is the most important game of the year". Now he's saying that "This season could be special". We need to stop reading all the press clippings saying how good we are and realize that "upsets" occur every week of the season and fortunately, we have not experienced it...yet. To think that we're destine to be ACC Champions and ranked No.1 going into the playoffs is a mistake. We're gonna get beat by UNC if Clemson plays next week like they did yesterday. Dabo and the staff needs to get the team grounded else Clemson won't be ACC Champs. I hope that Dabo et.al. realizes this and the Clemson team that beat Miami, ND, and FSU shows up against UNC.

Here's why; every single player is going to be reachable to address mistakes even DW for fumble handoff and he was the reason we were able to win. I think we beat UNC going away with a perfectly executed game plan to shut down their running game and place our dbs in one on one coverage with their receivers. Their quarterback cannot throw them open with pinpoint passing. His arm is not that good.

I also look for unc to try to create turnovers by trying to strip the ball. THIS has to be a focus this week in practice, and can result in broken tackles for additional yardage in the game.

Quarterback run,will be our worst ""enemy"" / along with the ""turnover margin"" --- if we can stop the QB run & hang onto the ball** the rest will take care of itself --- #4 does not know how to lose -- but he does know how to win a football game -- give him the reins & turn him loose !!!!!!!!!!! GO TIGERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
