ACCORDING TO ESPN, GEORGIA WILL EASILY PUT 30 PLUS POINTS ON THE BOARD !!! AND WIN BY AT LEAST 10 POINTS OR MORE !!!!! REALLY NOT GIVING OUR DEFENSE AND ESPECIALLY OFFENSE ANY RESPECT !!! WE WILL WIN THIS GAME !!!! ESPN IS ALL ABOUT THE SEC AND SEC POWER AND SPEED !!!! WE GOT THIS CLEMSON !!!!! GO CLEMSON TIGERS !!!

It moves based on how the betting goes.Apparently a few more folks were taking the points and Clemson, so they have moved the spread down a little. I feel very good that Clemson will win this game outright. They are getting the benefit of the sec hype. We will know what each team has this time next week. Spot the danged ball! I believe we are ready.

If our D is on the field 40 minutes, it won't matter how good they are.
That said, I think Cole takes care of business running the offense. I think we give up a few yards to Marshall/Gurley, but that we otherwise contain them. And I'm optimistic we walk out of Athens with the win for the first time in practically forever.

Spot on about the defense concerning the minutes played. Ga. has enough weapons on offense to put up plenty of points if our offense doesn't move the ball consistently enough for our defense to get the rest it needs. Our offensive line is my main concern. Cole will need some time to look down field and we've GO TO execute on third and short. Taj is no longer here to perform his short yardage magic on 3rd down. ALSO,IMO Peake needs 6-7 catches for 80-90 yards for us to win!

But I think Clemson could score 30 to 35 and Georgia 17 to 24 so a double digit win for the Tigers.

I think I said UGA can score 24-35 in a previous thread, and I'm sticking with that. Our problem on D is that we failed numerous times against the RUN last year, and it needs to improve this year. Also, that RB out of the backfield seems to cause us major issues. If UGA gets that out to Gurley on a regular basis, then UGA will stomp a hole in our D. *Not sure if Gurley has good hands though.
That said - I think we score 27 - 38 (possibly 45), so I still think we have a darn good chance of winning.

7.5 seems high. ~3 about right. Toss-up w/UGA home advantage

I think that this is one of those early season games where the odds are just over-inflated because of the lack of information and an SEC-loving-betting (homeristic) fan-base. You see this happen occasionally in VERY early season games-- especially in season openers and especially when one team is a prominent big-school team. I think UGA is unlikely to cover the spread.
