have had it for 27 years. But I don't have 300 lb people trying to tackle me . . and it still is difficult to get through it. Mine has slowly gotten better, but it's never right. If you plan o play football, it has to be fixed IMO.

The fact that he might miss his second season in 3 years is obviously not a good sign. Also it is uneducated and deplorable people such as yourself that give Clemson a bad name. But I am truly interested in learning why thinking he might have an injury-plagued career is "selfish".

Herniated disc surgery usually isn't all that serious , although the relief someone has after the surgery and recovery is unbelievable .

I've known two men who've had it ( Charleston has a wonderful spinal center for anyone in need btw ) and they recoverd fully and quickly , to 100% .
You're right though , depending on location and severity .. Its nothing to take lightly .

My dad had it 2 bad disc operated on and lives with pain every day. Can't do any one thing for too long. Has to rotate sit, stand, walk, lay to try to stay comfortable.
Now his operation was 20 years ago too so I'm sure they are better at fixing them now.

I did the spinal injections about 4 times - never worked - had to fuse. Hope Mike does well.

I have had failed back surgery twice but if I would have been Mikes age the doctor said with today's laser surgery my chance of healing completely would have been 95%. I was 45 when I had my 1st surgery but my bone had grown around the spinal cord and caused damage, at his age he won't have this issue.
I'm praying he heals completely and perfectly as our Abba Father is. In Jesus Name, Amen.
He is so gifted athletically and he is used to recovering from hits, bruises and tough workouts. I trust he will recover quickly and fully.
They don't want to rush him back but give him time to heal completely and he has a great chance of being a pro-bowler.

that's true but what I'm saying is, it seems just about every star player we have drafted that shows a promising career, they end up seriously hurt before they have a chance to get started. Nuk is one who has not been seriously injured.
