Favorite DV Kickoff Time?

Personally, there is no better spot than a 3:30 Kick after the Time Changes in early November.
1st half- crisp afternoons with Fall Foliage
2nd half- by the 2nd half KO, its almost completely dark and you have essentially a night game.
Its October, time to turn it up Tigers

Anytime I can make it to Death Valley is my favorite! Only 7 opportunities a year and no matter the time, each and every time is my favorite!!!

We were loading the tailgate at 7, left the lake by 9 and had everything set up by 11. Tailgate for a few hours, then the game - afterward, some post-game celebratory imbibing... By the time I got home I was exhausted. The house was full of passed out Tigers and I was thinking it was midnight or so - until the mother-in-law reminded me it wasn't even 10 yet.
Personally (and I know I'm in the minority), I LOVE a good 8:00pm kickoff. Those things are just electric!

From a pure convenience standpoint, my preference is 3:30...

it's awfully hard to beat a night game at The Valley!! I do not like nooners but I still go to them and have been awestruck at the noise level at noon games before. We have been louder at noon than some are at 8:00. It is great to be a Tiger!!

first game or two at 7:00. Every year I see the older folks needing medical attention. Is the AD not concerned about this-----I am. I would hate to lose an older Tiger fan to the heat and it could very well happen!

if it were me, I would try to do something about it. I hear that argument on here a lot, I'm just not the type to do whatever I'm told without questioning whether it is a good idea or not. To me, tv or not, it is not a good idea to put the lives of some of your supporters at risk if you could do something about it.

the University and the ACC sign a broadcasting rights agreement with the networks who largely dictate kickoff times. At that point, the University has very little if any real control over it.

3:30. Makes my commute from out of state go more smoothly, and allows me to get back in time to do things in Charlotte after the game. Also, as I recall, one of the players commented during an interview last year that they prefer afternoon kick-offs over kick-offs at night. I don't have data to back it up, but I could certainly see the players being more sharp playing in the afternoon.
