Of our yearly budget which will be more than our military expenditure.

We are gonna implode sooner than later!

Wrong, you were wrong on this yesterday-debt increases is NOT the same as deficits. Also, anybody can say any expenditures is COVID-how could Biden be doing COVID expenditures in 2023 and 2024-that’s right-it is not COVID expenditures

Just curiois, did you also deduct Trump's COVID expenditures?

U.S. Debt by year per Investopedia

Year. Debt (Trillions) Major Event

2015. $18.2 Oil Prices Down
2016. $19.6 Brexit
2017. $20.2 Debt Ceiling Incr
2018. $21.5 Tax Cuts
2019. $22.2 Trade Wars
2020. $26.9 COVID
2021. $28.5 Rescue Act
2022. $30.9 Inflation Reduct. Act
2023. $33.2 No Reason Given

So the debt went up ~ $8.7 trillion under Trump in 4 years and is up ~ $6.3 trillion under Biden in 3 years and down the stretch they come. Biden is closing fast on Trump with the Debt through June now $34.85 trillion putting Biden at $7.65 trillion. Looks Biden is going to win this one.

I supppse you appreciated those tax cuts and COVID checks under Trump like I did.

Let's hear the Left's narrative that it was ONLY for the rich. I can read but unlike some don't believe everything CNN or the Democrats say. All I know is that it is a fact that my Federal taxes were reduced on my retirement check which gave me more money to spend. So yes, it helped me.

Did you even read the 2017 Tax Cut and Jobs Act or just hate it because Trump beat Hillary? Read this and you'll know why Biden hasn't been so quick to try and get a bill through to cancel all of it.

The deficits from Trump’s tax cuts aren’t limited to one year. Every year before they expire, they add hundreds of billions to the deficit.
Now to call them Trump’s tax cuts is silly. They are actually Paul Ryan’s. Trump couldn’t even hold a meeting on infrastructure, even though he talked nonstop about it for four years.

Middle class got some tax relief, in states with low property taxes. Big proportion of middle didn’t pay federal tax before, and the rest generally don’t pay much anyway. The deficit is from cutting the taxes of upper middle and upper. The middle class benefit is mostly a myth.

Never heard of her. How long did it take to find one that fit your lies?

What have you gotten from Biden's deficit spending? At least if you're middle class and making $100K or less you're still getting about 16% savings from Trump's Tax cuts. But in your case, I'm guessing what you get in savings wouldn't buy a snickers bar.

I finally checked on this. Net interest is 14% of the budget now, so I don't know how you get to 50% in 5 years.

Project 2025 is going to cut a lot of spending:
End social security - 22%
End medicare and medicaid - 26%
End civil service and military defined benefit pensions - This is long overdue, private companies can't afford defined benefit pensions any longer, and the government can't either. The transition to defined contribution pensions would be rough for many current retirees, but somebody has to pay for that border wall.

And then you have a surplus that you can give away in tax cuts to billionaires.
