Fans On the Field

Do the fans of any other team run onto the field after EVERY game, win or lose, the way we do at Clemson? I've read a lot of comments regarding the TN girl who got hit in the head by the AL WR after the AL-TN game. A lot of people saying that she should not have been on the field and it's her fault.

Always somebody try to ruin a great family tradition at Clemson where our fans have always been respectful of the teams we play.

Catches them doing that, they will have to deal with their fellow Clemson fan. We don’t put up with that nonsense!

Quite a few do actually. The media tries to find anything negative to say about Clemson it seems.

Out there trying to get close to their heroes.
Adults stayed in the stands and watched, and the students generally headed out to the after game partying.
The environment today is much different.
Still I hope the tradition continues and potential issues that would threaten it are avoided.

IMO it's one of those things that set us apart

I love the fact that it is customary at Clemson. The mechanized goal posts were brilliant and kind of as to everyone we're going to do what we can to keep doing it.
This is why I'm opposed to selling beer at concessions. The second they ever decide to do it, that custom is over. If someone is so adamant about having beer while spending 3 1/2 hours with 80k+ people, stay home or tailgate. If you can't go that length of time without a beer, go to rehab. Don't ruin the experience for thousands of others.

If they start selling beer I might quit going to games especially with my young ones. It absolutely ruins the environment of the stadium, if you wanna drink do it before the game or at halftime. Don’t get my wrong I like to have a few before kickoff but getting drunk and acting a fool seems like such a waste of money imo.

Same here Mj. I like to have a few before the game too but know when to stop. Seems like when we go to stadiums that sell beer there are always some that just don’t know when to stop. Not to mention getting beer spilled on you throughout the game. Worst recent example for me was a really obnoxious drunk Ocry0 St fan at the playoff game in AZ in 2018.

1. I would like to think our fans on the field treat the opposing players, etc. with the proper respect. If not, they should stay the hello off the field.
2. I would like to know if and what that young woman had to say to the Bama player.

Two things. 1)I love the fact that we gather at the Paw. I’d hate it if some knuckleheads (as someone else said) ruined such a fantastic tradition. 2) I don’t really care what the girl said to the Bama player. It’s like I tell all three of my boys. You don’t hit women. Full stop. You certainly can’t be a 280lb ball of muscles and hitting a woman. That was a punk move.
