Fan Appreciation Day

Never been before but plan to go this year to take my 9 year old son because he really wants to meet Tahj & Sammy.

Having never been....any tips/advice as to when to get there and all? How does parking work and where is it normally held? I'm sure the lines for both of them will be bad....why I wondered if smart to get there early in case they allow folk to get in line early.

Thanks and Go Tigers! Football can't get here soon enough...found myself wanting it so badly that I watched some CFL last night.

Definitely get there early if you want to see the headliners like Sammy and Tajh. They generally hold it in the stadium and the last time I went the "stars" are next to the elevators under the South deck. Parking is first come first serve around death valley. They usually hold it for 2 or 3 hours and once time is up they will turn folks away. The lines for Dabo and Tajh/Sammy are long. Everyone else is in a circle under the stands and you can just walk from one to the next. It's been a couple of years since I went but that's the way it was last time I was there.
