I give NIL few years then NCAA will have need to have salary caps like pro sports. TAMU bought more players this season and how did that work for them.

In honesty Texas has been buying players for half century like all the big schools. SMU got the death penalty cause it was small school that didn't hide it as good. Only other team that should have gotten death penalty was Baylor few years back

I think the Pre-Nil money was like a Dodge Charger or Ford Raptor and a handshake. Or it was a McDonald's bag but even full pf $100's, that isn't the NIL money of today.
They are saying Rattler will make over $1mil in 2023, that doesn't include the schools free stipend $$ and all the other free stuff. $1mil is a bunch of Chargers and heck of a lot of McD's bags.
I think the biggy investors will blow their wads in next couple yrs, learn that players don't stay if they are not happy and chose for wrong reasons (fyi look at aTm). The investment isn't worth the return if the 5* gets a $mil to sign, doesn't work hard enough to play, then transfers out. What did that $mil buy?? Nothing!! A 1yr commit that didn't play.
Tam is the prime example here. Was the #1 class and did zero. Now half those players are gone and they had their worst yr under Jimbo. Now they are not in top 10 recruiting because they couldn't buy everyone again.
