APM, credit where credit due, great drive by Lewis.

2018 Max showed up again for the first time. The Red Bull is not the fastest or even second fastest car, but he drove like a child and should be humiliated when he looks back on this race.

McLaren’s are crazy fast. Piastri will have a championship in the next couple years if the car stays fast.

McLaren strategy is insane. There was no reason to give Lando the undercut on Piastri.

Lando. Quickly becoming my least favorite driver. What a punk. Showed his azzzz and crapped all over Piastri’s first GP win in the process.

They gave Lando the undercut. Then Lando walked away from Piastri. Lando is closer to Max in the standings and gave up 7 pts by swapping positions. Should have managed their pit strategy better and if Lando wins, he wins. Instead let drama build and look like fools.

Also, vintage whiney Max was back. I can't believe he launched his car over Lewis without damage to either.

Norris got two undeserved undercuts in the race. That’s 4 seconds right there.

At the end Piastri was hitting the team’s target times to manage tires while Lando was trying to put in quali laps. That’s why they kept getting on him over the radio. That gap wasn’t at all indicative of some pace advantage Lando had.

If anything this race showed me how much stronger mentally Piastri is. I’d think he would win a WDC before Lando. Their driving skills are similar but Lando should have 5-10 race wins at this point in his career instead of 1, and he consistently craps them away from mental mistakes.

Whadda you want from me? I have seen the standings and Max is first and Lewis is 6th despite being in the 2nd fastest car.

less than a month ago you were tryna get me to bet on LH44 over GR. Just pointing out how things can change.

Anyhoo, Merc are still no better than third best. LH44 said so post race.

I am just hoping the dudes in orange cars can unseat the d*ck with oranje wearing fans.

Always. ALWAYS undersells whatever car he is driving. Much like during the race the minute he says “these tires have no grip” over the radio, I was expecting a purple lap within a lap or two and like clockwork, there they were. Lewis was saying their car wasn’t the fastest during the middle of the mid 20-teens run.

If you average Perez’s results and Max’s, you probably get a pretty good approximation of the RB’s spot in the pecking order.
