Extended Playing Time Chars Sou/ FAU

Should the starters on Offense and Defense play further into the upcoming games if the score goes the way we all want it to be.

I know the coaching staff doesn't like to run up the score if they can help it, but would it benefit the Offense to get some more snaps to gel together in a real game situation?

Just wondering how everyone feels about it.

I’ve been thinking about this very thing this week and I’m still torn. On one hand, I’d like to see if we have younger players who can step up, but on the other hand our starters need reps to knock off the rust and really tighten up on their fundamentals.

Not playing Debbie downer but FAU may give us a game. Tom Herman is coaching there I believe and it may not be the blowout we hope for

there will probably be a running clock in the second half, so we won't get to see as many players as we would like. I would hope we DON'T have a running clock, just so we can evaluate more guys under playing conditions. Practice nowadays is too regulated to really see what you have.
