FSU winning does not 'open the door' for Clemson or any other ACC member. Have to challenge and win on our own.

Florida is a "government in the sunshine law" state.

The Chairman of the Board explained in his opening comments that they would have preferred all this be behind closed doors but government law prohibits it. No votes can be taken on matters like this except in public forums. No group discussions can take place.
He mentioned 1 on 1 meetings. Florida law is very specific. The president, or the attorney, can only speak with other members of the board 1-1. He can't ask 2 board members to come to his office and discuss anything. Two board members cannot discuss matters about this issue in private.
That's why its all being done in public.

Or, they are certainly discussing all of this but withholding any public comments.

Do you think Clemson and FSU are also keeping close contact with North Carolina?

I am convinced that as the legal process continues Clemson and others will join in the suit at the proper time.

According to some FSU fans on X, FSU has nothing to do with Clemson. They wish people would quit linking the two. I am going to file all of this away. If, or when, Clemson makes a move, I'll revisit.

Clemson operates much differently than FSU

Being noisy in the news, on social media, that is FSU style and always has been.
FSU has themselves out there, making noise, sounds somewhat desperate. Clemson does not and has not ever operated that way. Thinking that Clemson is "doing nothing" is a bit absurd to believe. Sometimes being quiet is so much better than causing a scene or being obscene about an issue.
I am a bit frustrated to not hear anything as well, and I have made this clear in previous post that our Tigers did nothing when they should have been pushing an agenda that helped Clemson and the league. But we need to trust the process and hope our guys are handling business as best they can. But recognize that you, nor I, nor anyone on TNET has any say in this whatsoever. As fans we should support our teams and administration to handle things appropriately.
I have been critical of Clemson & the ACC for not taking advantage when Clemson was at their peak in 2018/2019 to make changes that could advance our team and the entire league. It never happened, so here we sit and simply play the waiting game.
Clemson will forever be the team I support, but they failed to strike while the iron was hot in my humble opinion. Things will work out however they work out, and I will be here saying the same thing I have for my 48 years on Earth.... GO TIGERS!!

What are they supposed to be doing? I think watching how this unfolds is the smartest thing they can do---in other words, nothing.
