Agreed. I saw what he and Tee did vs. the Citadel last season.

Nifty running TD by HJ last Saturday. I'd be OK with him at starter.

"IF" TL actually becomes the starter, every starter needs to have a great back up that can carry the team as well as the starter. There is no doubt in my mind that Hunter and Trevor are the two that I would pick to do just that. I know and understand that who ever the starter will be, he will become more acquainted and more comfortable with the offense but, with those two, it wouldn't take but a minute for one or the other to get comfortable with our offense bc they both are talented enough, and they both have the skill to be a great starter for our Clemson Tigers. That is 100% my opinion of those two QB's!!! GOOOOOOO Tigersssss our future looks great!!!

I agree, Hunter the starter and share duties with TL.Put KB in multiple positions.Let the competition between HJ and TL play out until one rises above the other.

I thought you should have seen the field Vs Bama but that didn’t happen. You’re a good QB but as long as TL is healthy its pretty much mop up duty . Oh yeah I truly believe you lead us to victory at the Cuse last season. Leaving KB and ZC in there that long was a slap in your face. No way you would have done as bad as ZC.

Don’t turn the ball over, score a few points and we win. If last year’s defense was scary, this year’s should be damnright terrifying, epic.

All that will work until we face a good D and then it’s a war. We have studs everywhere on Offense and 4 good QBs. If we struggle scoring this season it’s all on the Coaches. I believe we need to go out and find an elite OC to go along with our elite DC.

I could average 20 points with this team by simply keeping my mouth shut! You want to give Canada millions for another 20? Come on, Man! Our (apparently) non-elite co-OC's have three CFP trips in three tries...what the he77 more does anyone want?

WOW, I can't believe that you said that, you will get beat up for voicing your honesty of what you think or believe. This is a go along with the total of T-Net or get hammered. This is not the sports board that allows you to have an opinion of your own that differs from the majority!!!

And in another, our starting QB was injured and our backup kicker missed 2 FGs. And the other was to the #1 defense and eventual national champions.

DW won most of those games and last year you take out Kent st and the Citadel and it was not good. Like I said if we struggle this year it’s all coaching. We have way too many weapons not to be a high power O. Last season without DW it was not. I understand we had a bunch of new players but they are all back this season.

Our OCs are Great Recruiters. There is nothing else elite about them. They do not have dynamic minds. They do not make in game or even halftime adjustments. I said it last year- DW4 made them look good.

I felt like we should have developed HJ more last year (more playing time)... If HJ sees more playing time in season last year we are not bound to one QB in the play-offs with little to no deep threat. Just my 2 cents

I was the most impressed by him & Chase Saturday... Trevor is the real deal, but I thought Hunter & Chase showed a lot of promise

CB threw three picks
HJ doesn't put enough on the ball and also threw a pick
TL was AWESOME and you must be a coot if can't see that.

HJ will give his best to start
Apr 18, 2018, 5:46 PM

and if it doesn't work out, he needs to transfer this Spring to be eligible to play in the 2019 season. In his case, time is money. Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn St, Purdue, Tennessee offered among others. Also UNC, NCSU, Miami who are in conference and likely out of play. He has plenty of college options to prep for NFL career. Wish him the best on Tigers or elsewhere.
I welcome Coach Swinney making a QB depth chart decision so backups with NFL aspirations can transfer to pursue their dreams if chances are slim to non-existent to start for Clemson.

He did VERY well. That’s what counts. Never mind how he looks in drills. He is good. If he were to transfer after riding the pine, could we blame him ?
