ESPN on XBOX?

Will the game be blacked out tonight on ESPN on the XBOX live? I havnt had to worry about this yet this season, but tonight I hope to watch the game through my xbox espn app. Worked great last year for any game on espn, but this year I have heard a lot of fuss about espn 3 being blacked out. I am pretty sure ESPN on the xbox is nothing but ESPN3. Any advice will be appreciated.

I'm out of the country and can't look right now, but I'm pretty sure (if i recall correctly) that you can also find out on espn3.com

There should be something under each game that says "Subject to Blackout" or something like that, and it should link to a map where it is blacked out

Says only available on ESPN for the eastern half of the country. And available on ESPN and ESPN 3 for the western half of the country. Anyone know how to bypass this on an XBOX? I know how to on a computer.

ESPN on XBOX has changed this year due to deal with cable

companies. They are blacking out every game shown on tv except for one or two a weekend unless you also have a cable subscription with a participating cable provider. All Thursday night games have been blacked out.

Too many people like you and me dropping cable to watch ESPN on the XBox.
