just said Clemson would not contribute enough to the revenue of the Big 12 to pull its own weight. They said this more than once and in a variety of different ways.
They also commented on the TCU's AD's remarks about FSU, UM and Clemson trying to get into the Big.
Don't shoot me, I'm just telling you what they said.

before flapping their gums. Of all the ACC schools, only FSU with 31,000,000, had more than Clemson's 28,000,000 viewers for football last season. Using a conservative $.75 per viewer, that would be $23,250,000 and $21,000,000 respectively. Both figures are above what the Big 12 are pulling in per team.
ESPN announcers need to stop running their misinformed mouths and look at their own numbers.

has all of the ACC's inventory. Fox and somebody else has the Big12.
THey don't want to see their 15-year investment fall apart. They are getting Clemson, FSU, VT, GT, Miami, UNC, NC STATE, etc.. for peanuts. Clemson's about to mess that up.

You have no idea how deeply traumatized I was listening to that program.
I can handle other Tigers lashing out a bit after a loss or stupid playcall but to have a national media say something like that really upset me. It's a family thing, you know?

Pretty sure there is a clause in the contract where if the ACC expands/contracts, the contract would be re-negotiated. That's why we were able to re-negotiate when we added Pitt and 'Cuse.
If there isn't a clause like that, there is the 5 year look-in TDP talked about where things would be opened back up for more/less money. That's how I understand it at least.

I didn't see it but I like David Pollak a lot. He knows what he is talking about and he's a UGA guy but still gives Clemson the respect they deserve instead of just flat out denying everything this team brings to the table.

someone needs to email those "jerks" at ESPN and point out that they do need to research, instead of spouting off at the mouth to avoid eating "CROW" later on down the road.....and they WILL have to eat it !!!!!!!!!!
