And Musk increased his worth $70 billion in stock value after Trump was elected. Sounds like a good investment.
You obviously worship the "Dem Party" and can't accept that what they were selling was rejected.

In either case they govern in their own best economic interests _ with little to no regard for the working class or the best long term interests of the United States.
Not fooled or enamored with either _ but Musk seems especially questionable given that he is a clever guy.

contributing to Donald Trump doesn’t fit your BS narrative
How how about the guy that starts US businesses from scratch and created 110k jobs directly and more than 500k jobs indirectly?
And for the record, he’s way more invested than $250M
You can count his $29.5 Billion investment in Twitter (and free speech) toward that number

While in the US on an education visa while not actually attending school. I guess that’s OK as long as you’re not from one of Donny’s “sheet hole” countries.
Also he didn’t start Tesla; sorry if that doesn’t fit your BS narrative.

In fact, he was on a J-1 visa that he transferred to an H1-B visa
So he was quite legal and quite documented
I’d encourage you to know the facts and learn a little about the bureaucratic nightmare that is our legal immigration process

That's not how it works. The J-1 is for students, so when he didn't enroll in Stanford he because undocumented in 1995. He can't just apply and convert it to an H-1B. The H-1B is for specialists, and a kid with a fresh BS in physics from Penn and no experience would not qualify. He got his experience illegally starting a company with his brother and then applied for the visa lottery a year or so later when their investors threatened to pull out.

It's a lot like Steve Jobs was, but to a lesser degree. They show him ideas and he says yea or nay and sometimes offers, "could you make it do this" questions. I'm sure he's read the books about Jobs - Elon is a lot richer, but he has a long, long way to go to get to the same legacy. They are both mainly salesmen with a lot of good engineers working for them.

Lotta thoughts here...

Musk clearly has a very big agenda he's not sharing, and it certainly doesn't involve Trump being at the top. I'm bothered that they guy truly believes he's playing a video game, and it appears he wants to "win" it--whatever that entails. Musk is dishonest, a megalomaniac, has an enormous ego, and wants people to worship him. Honestly, Trump probably needs to watch his back with this guy because I think Elon just sees Trump as an expendable tool to get what he wants, which probably involves weakening any government resistance against him.
And before Trumpkins get upset, remember that Musk is a foreign atheist liberal who thinks we live in a game.
Next, it's not my place or anyone's to tell Musk how to spend his money, but it's sad that a man of his capabilities who can use that money to help so many people and make the world a better place is using it to fuel a guy like Trump for his own personal quest for world power. Which again brings me back to my first point--if you have that much money and this is the path you take, your intentions are clearly not benevolent.
I despise all that Trump stands for and what he wants to do, but I know there's a ceiling on the damage he can do. It's Musk who is the real threat to humanity.
