Do you like it? If so what’s your preferred additives? Plain? Brandy? Whiskey/bourbon? Something else?

I agree with Xander; prefer it plain but have been known to add a little rum.

I used to hate eggnog, until I realized it was missing half the ingredients: either bourbon or spiced rum, either works for me

Brandy, but Bourbon's not bad. Always needs a little nutmeg, yum!

I can’t drink spiced rum. Had a bad experience in HS with Captain and doctor pepper, haven’t touched it since.

Just bought the Bicardi yesterday for the eggnog. My significant other makes it homemade. The store bought stuff is crap.

In western NC and eastern TN and KY they drink something called Boiled Custard instead of egg nog during the holidays. It’s kind of like egg not without the spices. Think liquid crème brûlée. Good stuff if you have an overactive sweet tooth.

With a shot of either Crown Salted Caramel or Ballotin Bourbon Ball. Haven’t tried both at the same time yet but….🤔

I like the flavor of eggnog, but the consistency is too thick. A splash of cold milk helps a lot.
