EAGLE NEST PIP WATCH

God's work is amazing in so many ways. This is just one example. The million dollar view is not bad either.

The first laid egg may start hatching today. The eaglet inside will start pecking at the egg to get out. It may take a while.

The eaglet does not appear instantly from the egg. It takes some time to peck its way out. It is a slow process.

During the first two to three weeks after hatching at least one parent typically remains at the nest.

If you have a smart tv or Roku, bring up You Tube, NOT YOU TUBE TV, Repeat NOT YOU TUBE TV, on your tv. In the search block, type in Big Bear Valley Eagle Cam, and it will bring up the nest. Click on that and you can watch the nest on your tv. You will be surprised at how much better the nest and everything looks. You will get a much better idea of how big the nest is and how strong the wind is blowing.

I leave it on my tv when I am not watching Clemson sports. I do not watch much tv. During the week I stay focused on the stock mkt.

The nest was featured on CBS yesterday. It is the most watched bird's nest in America. It definitely has the best view and cameras.

Enjoy watching God at work.

Wasn't the first egg supposed to hatch Thur or Fri?
Hopefully, man-made global warming didn't freeze their chicks to death again this year.
They are such awesome looking creatures.

The first egg can take as many as 3 days beginning on Friday. Friday is the first day it could hatch, thus the watch begins. Day or night. It will be a small fuzzy bird. Jackie will continue to incubate the other two eggs and the newborn eaglet will still be covered by Jackie and kept warm. New born fowl and animals MUST be kept warm or they die. Thus heat lamps when you hatch chick's . When I raised ans showed Champion purebred puppies, they had to be kept warm with heat lamp.

Pipping refers to the first hole made from inside the egg. (PIP FOR SHORT). The eaglet must peck his way out of the egg. That is a slow process.

We keep this up on a smart tv most of the day. Agree 100 you have to see it on a bigger screen than a phone. It’s definitely an America the Beautiful scene!
