Ben Boulware: We don't fear anybody

Hurt his knee (a MCL, I think) early in the game. It is not the ACL which requires surgery and long rehab, so JW should only miss a few weeks.

I would like to coin the term "single threat quarterback". It'll help DW with perspective.

what's the deal; Watson not liking the term dual-threat? do not understand why he doesn't like being described as a dual-threat quarterback? I would say its a compliment!

It's such a strange reaction...."its not true, I am not a dual threat qb....im a pass first, but can run. ". Does this mean dual threat qb are normally not good passers?

s. I hope that he has changed his mind and plays to his full capability against Louisville, and the Tigers stop Jackson clearing the way for Watson to get back into Heisman and for TIGERS head to playoffs! 38-17!

One thing you won't find too often within teams is a trust factor between coaches and players. You'll notice a lot of the time players will do their own thing on the field, whether it's blitzing the wrong gap or something of the sort and it ends up hurting a defense. I love that not only Boulware but the entire defense believes in Venables as a coach. After the Auburn game, I remember reading that Ferrell said that Venables can "predict plays before they're coming" and it made him trust in Venables even more. It's one thing for a coach to believe in a player, but it's different when a player believes in a coach.

DW is a duel threat and when he is right watch out. Coach will have defense ready. Will need everyone on defense.

Slow and ankle hurts...
Sep 28, 2016, 1:25 PM

I have to admit Boulware is not the fastest especially now that he sprained his ankle. I do believe his passion makes up for it and that he hits most holes fast because of it. Lemar Jackson is that fast so I do fear this match-up should he get beyond the line. I know if he is able to get to Jackson (probably on a blitz) that he will hit Jackson harder than anyone.

I expect Jackson to be mauled by an angry, disrespected Tiger Defense, much like Major Harris from WV was a few years ago. I want this Defense to have him running for his life out there.
