Terry Kinard accuses Dabo of hiding behind Bible. The first two did not age very well. My guess is the last one won’t either.

The parents of a former Clemson basketball player are making allegations of verbal abuse by head coach Brad Brownell.
Mark McBride, the father of now-former Clemson basketball player O’Neil McBride, is stating on multiple posts and videos that his son has left the basketball program with three years remaining because O’Neil got to the point where he could no longer tolerate the abuse from Brownell.
The videos and posts are publicly available on Mr. McBride’s Facebook page. The latest video has garnered almost 2,000 views and hundreds of comments.

The McBride’s are also stating that they are not able to talk to either Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich or Clemson basketball coach Brad Brownell.
While these allegations made by the McBride family have not been substantiated, they should be investigated by Radakovich and the athletic program. If they are found to be true, Clemson basketball should indeed make a change.
It should be noted that no other former player or player’s family has ever publicly alleged any type of abuse from Brad Brownell or anyone within the basketball program.

On Sunday we linked to a story about how the parents of a Clemson basketball walk-on were upset with coach Brad Brownell, accusing him of verbal abuse and of blaming this spring’s ACC Tournament loss to Miami on the scout team.
Clemson AD Dan Radakovich has responded, saying this:
“This is a circumstance that we took seriously when it was brought to us. Our administrative staff that is charged with that part of our organization looked into it and it was determined that there was no violation of a university code of conduct. Brad understands that there is a high standard and he works hard to meet that. I will tell you that over the last few months there has been a lot of pressure on our student-athletes and a lot of our coaches given the COVID requirements and the changes that they’ve had to go through.
“It doesn’t excuse any of that, but it’s a circumstance where our folks looked into it and Brad has had conversations with the student-athlete and our individuals have had a conversation with the parent and we are looking move forward.”

forebearance, for, thus far, I've read detail only from one side: Terry's.
Terry Kinard has always been one of my most favorite players, and I have no reason to cast shades on his thinking. Likewise, Dabo Swinney is a favorite, and I can't demean him because I've read nothing in his defense.
What I do know, having read Terry's post and subsequent comments, is that a whole lot of folks are relying on one side of this matter to form opinions, and a number of Chicken fans are fanning the flames.
What I suspect is that there may have been a rush to judgment by a whole lot of people, possibly even by Terry, and that the truth of the matter will emerge soon enough. Further, it is difficult to imagine any coach singling out a walk-on with extremely limited playing experience for any kind of particular derision, much less resorting to name-calling, etc.
Regardless, considering Terry's ties with Clemson, I'm surprised Terry didn't communicate directly with Dabo, who I'm certain would have been more than happy to discuss the issue.
