We will be facing a wide open offense for sure. If he gets some good skill players on O, they could be dangerous in the future.

He’s a defensive coach so it depends who he hires as his OC.

True, but he was the HC of a team putting up an average of 423 yards per game, 167 rushing and 256 passing. Im expecting his OC will be an up tempo guy running a WC offense but we will see.

Dickert is accustomed to coaching a team that has limited resources.

Wake’s athletic department is smart. They made a good hire.

Most seem to think this is a good hire. Maybe. All of Dickert's experience has been in the Midwest and far west. Wonder how long it will take him to become familiar with the eastern and southeastern high school coaches and players and vice versa. It seems to me no matter who Wake hires, they are typically a .500 team, not much better. I wish him and Wake the best, unless of course, they play the Tigers. Also, coach Dickert was 23-20 in four years at Washington State, with two bowl losses.
