I'm not going to give that any clicks. Nope. Not worth my time. The guy's a recovering alcoholic with a short fuse. Brilliant offensive mind, but he's got issues. Hard pass.
As to our record, I think he has a point. But that's my own opinion. Anyway, onwards to the SMU game.

a case for his team. However, if Kiffin had a real strong case for his team to be in the CFP he wouldn't be resorting to whining about the CFP on social media.
But since Kiffin likes to cherry pick the Clemson vs UGA game at the beginning of the year as some litmus of the ACC and SEC conferences let's cherry pick another of the ACC and SEC first game of the season: Miami vs Florida.
Miami beat Florida 41 to 17 and if you watched any of that game you know that game wasn't as close as that score showed.... Fast forward 11 weeks and that same mediocre Florida team beat Ole Miss...
Ole Miss also lost, at home, to Kentucky who just this past week got pounded at home by (dare I say it) an ACC Louisville team 41 to 14.
Maybe instead of crying on "X" about the "weak" ACC and how the CFP is ranking folks Kiffin should spend more time focusing on his program's performance consistency. Were he to do so he probably wouldn't need to resort to being a whiner on social media.

So as it turns out:
If Ole Miss beats 4-7 Kentucky, who got trucked by their ACC rival, they go to the playoffs.
OR
If they can beat 5-5 Florida, they go to the playoffs.
You think Ole Miss would take that deal before the season if offered?
On top of that, this was their year. Favorable schedule. All-World Transfer portal recruiting class. Heisman candidate back at qb.
No one to blame but themselves.

if you win your Division (Conference), you are in. No matter how good or bad your conference is. That takes up 5 of the 12 spots. Then you select the best 7 from the remaining teams available. At that level, yes, strength of schedule should matter. But so should head to head. He's entitled to his opinion, but how do you explain a GT taking Ga to 8 overtimes? Or, Clemson losing by a freak tipped pass to the hottest team in the SEC this year? And as far as his comment about Clemson vs Georgia, I didn't catch his comments about Ole Miss losing to a 4-8 Kentucky team? Maybe they just didn't print that part.
Clemson has 3 losses this year, but ALL 3 are to bowl eligible teams with winning records. How does he explain away that awful loss to Kentucky? Heck, even Louisville boat-raced Kentucky.
