Does anyone know any local spots in Durham where Clemson fans will be throughout the day on Monday before the Game? Or does this not even exist around Duke?

That town is pretty much a craphole. Duke is in a nicer area, but from what I remember not much around it…other than hospitals.
Downtown around the ballpark is pretty cool and I think safe, but be careful if you stray too far from there. And watch out for the dirt bike gang who patrols the streets around there. So glad my boy got out of there.

Yes, the tobacco warehouses around the Durham Bulls Athletic Park (DBAP) is about the only place I would venture to outside of Duke’s campus.

I would check out Clouds Brewing. Its about a mile and a half from campus. Bunch of TVs. Beer is pretty good. Food is just your typical bar food.

Save your money, bring a cooler of Natty lights and a portable grill with some brats and dogs.
Will be much more enjoyable and cost friendlier especially for college students.

Durham has a lot to offer! The main areas to check out are Downtown, American Tobacco Campus, and 9th Street. Here are a few of my favorites.
Unscripted Durham: Formerly a HoJo, this boutique hotel is located in the heart of Durham and features a 3rd-floor pool/patio/bar that overlooks the city. You do not have to be guests to enjoy the patio and bar. Limited food menu on patio. Both restaurants, Neomonde (fresh Mediterranean) and Pour Taproom (pay-by-the-ounce beer) are very good. Corcoran Street
The Roof at Durham: The best rooftop view in Durham is at The Durham Hotel. 315 E Chapel Hill St Queeny’s: Just voted one of the South’s best new restaurants by Southern Living and one of our favorites! Excellent food, and the staff is awesome. Large outdoor seating area. Get the Birria Dip 😉
Kingfisher: A cool craft cocktail bar that also features art. 2023 Semifinalist for James Beard Award Outstanding Bar. Hard to find because the sign does not have the name on it. It has a larger kingfisher bird on it. It is in the basement of Queeny’s. 321 E. Chapel Hill Street, Durham, NC
The Velvet Hippo Upbeat, trendy bar with friendly vibes on the 3rd floor at 119 Orange Street. Another great rooftop bar. Also Downtown
Kotuku Surf Club: Eclectic late-night bar, fun mix of younger people, but us oldies are welcome too 😊 703 Rigsbee Ave
Devine’s Sports Bar: Owned by former Blue Devil TE Gene Devine. 904 West Main Street
Tobacco Road Sports Cafe: Outdoor seating overlooks the field at Durham Bulls Stadium (Bulls play Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), Good food, lots of TVs
Blue Note Grill: Blues and BBQ. 709 Washington St, 280 S Mangum St #100
