I dont usually do this but looking for a pick me up and help from the good Lord. Just got the call from MUSC rejecting my kidney for my mother. Her kidneys are functioning at 10% from diabetes and I was hoping that I would be the one to do this for the woman that has done so much for me. They've been taking me to Clemson games for 27 years and they will be missing out this year. I remember them with blankets over their legs in the August heat so I could make a fort to play with my toys. Like I said I don't usually do this but any prayers would be appreciated.

I have a family member who has been on the kidney transplant list for over 5 years. None of the family are eligible to donate.
She has been at around 10% kidney function for the last 5 years. I will pray that your Mom finds a donor before her function degrades any further.
We have had 12 people get tested to be donors. Either they were not a good enough match or they were not healthy enough. You would not believe how many people are walking around with poor kidney function. One of the potential donors found out he only had one kidney functioning.
I hope you all find a donor soon!

I know what you are going through and I wish you all the best. Stay strong...keep your head up, pray often, and spend as much time with your Mom as you can. Your love and support for her will go a long way. The good Lord has a plan.
