Does the OKS vs Va Tech game change your opinion of Georgia

and Oklahoma? Clemson beat Va Tech 31-17 for comparison. Was it a preview of what we will see Monday evening? Maybe a few less turnovers by Georgia and a high scoring game in the upper 30s.
OKS supplanted Oklahoma atop the passing yardage charts with that game last night. OKS ran it 32 times for 137 yards and passed it 32 times for 351 yards. They ran 64 plays for 488 yards or 7.6 yards per play and 31 points. Against a pretty salty Va Tech defense that was fifth in the country giving up only 13.5 points per game.
A great QB and a great passing attack is a great talent equalizer.

There are so many games on Monday that I should be well entertained waiting for Clemson to play.

Bulldogs will pucker up and Baker will light up their D.
Missouri showed them the game plan in 1st half.

But I really don’t think Virginia tech played well at all. I know you asked about Georgia and yes they could beat Georgia by I think if Clemson or Alabama play Oklahoma that the defense will overpower their offense. Now I think when you play a big 12 team, you can and should take more chances. Because you need to score some points.

The Best Defense against the Best Offense is THE game

everybody wants to see. Clemson vs. Oklahoma.
You could make a similar argument regarding Va Tech not playing well about Georgia's win over Auburn. Auburn was coming off a stretch of Texas A & M, Georgia and Alabama to close the season. Having played a tough Alabama game the week before the Championship game against Georgia put them at a huge disadvantage. Just as it may us going into the Championship game.
That, and the horrendous state of the SEC East with the Gamecocks in second place gives a false read on Georgia. The SEC has good defenses, but is devoid of good QBs and offensive systems while the Big 12 has 3 of the Top 6 passing attacks in the country including the Heisman Trophy winner.
SEC? No mas! Surely, the networks want no part of an SEC Championship game. Expect the calls to go our way, especially in the unlikely event Georgia wins.

B12 teams. VT outgained Ok St 518 to 488 in total yards, and lost the game due to two turnovers and Foster not being aggressive on defense, which is odd for him. Very little blitzing.
VT’s offense was ranked 59th in the country averaging 405 yards per game prior to last night. They finished well above their total yardage norm, even without their best offensive player, Cam Phillips.
Oklahoma has a slightly better defense than Ok St (#57 to #73 in the country respectively in yards allowed per game) and their offense is slightly better than Ok St (#1 and #2 respectively in yards per game).
As for UGa and Oklahoma, I think Oklahoma beats UGa by 7-10 points, something like 35-28 or 38-31.

VT lost the ball twice in the redzone. Threw a in the 4th in Okie St territory. They still had a chance late in the game to win. Props to the Okie St O and D though. They were impressive but I don't think that game has anything to do with UGA and Okie. If Okie can stop the run and make UGA throw to win they could outscore them but I don't think they can and I don't think Baker can put up enough points on a D like UGA. Should be fun to watch but I think UGA wins 31-21.

While the gobblers had stat wise a good d they did not match up at all with the cowboys. Foster knew this and did not bring his usual pressure package. This was not the VT team of fifteen years ago. IMHO they could not overcome the overall team speed of the cowboys.

Not one iota. Virginia Tech was pulling a Hokie. Guess Virginia Tech is "hokie'ing" Oklahoma State put 50 on West Virginia. VT doesn't have any sustained defense for the late game, neither does WV as we saw in the VT-WV match up.
