Not even close. He wins a lot, wins ACC Championships, we go to major bowl games, he graduates his players, no scandals, a good representative for Clemson University, the administration loves him, most of the fans love him and did I mention he wins, and wins a lot.

Dabo's seat will never get hot. Clemson fans/AD have a habit of falling in love with coaches and then marrying them. Takes a lot to file for a divorce and the alimony costs the university millions.

Fans like you need to go find another team to pull for. I want to say a lot more about miserable people like yourself but “it’s be nice to a #######” day so I will refrain. The “hot seat” for not making the playoffs? Are you serious?

Snuke93, fans that stand behind our team, even after a few 10 win seasons instead of 12, or more are not simple minded. We know what’s good. Win at all cost is not alway the best thing. CU has a great football program, a clean program, a coach that cares about his players AFTER football. And, he care about the fans, wether they wear orange or not. No, he has not worn out his welcome and is not on the hot seat. Just like politics, a few simple minded people make all of the noise while the true supporters just sit back patiently and accept winning the right way.

Possibly. Supposedly Tennessee outnumbered Clemson fans 70%-30% according to Munson. If that translates to season ticket sales I could see the seat getting warm in 2024. Little old Clemson fans don’t appreciate being talked down to. We appreciate the national championships, that’s what the giant contract is for. Now continue to produce the results or make the required changes to get things back on track. If not, hit the bricks

Clemson fans are broke from all the travel the last few years and yes the Orange bowl was a let down.
Whereas Tennessean fans were excited to get to the Orange bowl. There was a reason for that attendance number.

Definitely No. If he wanted to any school with an opening would ###### him up. I am one of those old alumni that remembers the lean decades when a simple winning record was something to be happy about. I would love to be in the playoffs every year. But it's not going to happen. Not even to Alabama.

No!!!!!! How can you people ask such ignorant questions? If we’re not careful we are going to push him to Alabama when Saban retires. I hope he never is exposed to the negativity this site spews. But hey, if he does leave us some day then all the negative fans will have gotten what they asked for. I suggest you get behind the program and be a fan instead of a critic. Look at our full history of football, we have never had a time like this. It doesn’t matter who the coach was and you think he should get heat for not making the playoffs. I got news for you, get rid of Dabo and we won’t not only not make the playoffs but we won’t be considered for years. Typically when a great coach leaves the program goes down and it takes time to get it back up. Just ask the fans that just beat us!

I attended more games in the 90’s than any other decade.
Dabo building the program doesn’t mean he can sustain it.
There are plenty of coaches out there that can win at Clemson.
Definitely not saying he should be fired, but programs like FSU and Penn St. are perfect examples of what happens when you keep a coach around too long.
Nobody will admit this, but I think after this debacle with DJ his seat is at least lukewarm.

Posters that think his seat can even get slightly warm need to read his contract. 9 years remain on a 115 million dollar guaranteed money deal. He will be here for the duration - wins and losses will not even become a factor until he has 1-2 years left.

Come on really? No it does not.
I am no pumper by any means, but Dabo has done and continues to do great things with our football program. There needs to be some adjustments on with the coaching staff and he needs to keep himself more of the CEO coach like Mac Brown.
But to say he needs to be on the hot seat for missing the playoffs next year is just silly. He has house money to play with for some time. Mind you, I am not sure our Tigers can remain competitive in the elite tier in the NIL world due to the size of the school and alumni base. This is no fault of Dabo’s.
