My feelings are, if they are going to pay college coaches the kind of money that they are being paid, then BV is worth every dime that he is paid. If the norm is that college coaches are going to be paid a ridiculous, insane amount of money to give these college FB players the best chance to succeed in the NFL, then just maybe Brent Venable's deserves more that he is being paid at his present salary. Also IMPO, If Coordinators are going to be paid a million +, their assistants right below the coordinators should make more money especially if a team is consistently ranked in the top 10 of at least 2 of the 3 major poles. But if there isn't a cap put on what college coaches are making, the fans in the stands that has made college FB what it is today, they will be priced out of the stadiums. It will become to where a 40k seat stadium will be plenty of seats available for the ones that can afford the price of a ticket. I'm being a 100% honest when I say that I can not any longer afford the Ticket price, cost of travel, plus a day of tailgating and enjoying the company of being around other Tiger fans, and I don't even have to pay for parking bc I get to park in the handicap parking. Tiger FB season use to be the happiest time of my life by far. Now not being able to go and tailgate has become depressing for me up until the game starts on TV, and that's not near as good as being there in any seat screaming my voice away, and can barely talk when I leave. Those were some of the best times of my life, and I know that it would be even better now that we have become one of the top 10 teams in the country. There is nothing better than tailgating with your fans with us having bragging right of supporting a top 10 team!!! I haven't been up to Clemson in so long now, with the way roads change and the way things have changed on campus, I would have to get a campus map just to find my way to the stadium now. Sad!!!

Sorry, but this is what it takes to become an elite program

The ticket value has to be higher for elite programs because the demand is rising so rapidly. That's how you stay in the CFB Arms Race.

Oh boy, here we go again. Just gotta put that spotlight on the negative, I'm sure they're getting coached up on the things we need to improve

3 for 5 on 4th down.

Just pointing it out though. We needed to stop them on 5 different 4th downs. 5 times the wartigereagles decided to go instead of punt. So out of 14 4th down plays, they went for it 5 times. Thats over 35% of the 4th downs. They completed 60% of those. That is roughly equivalent to giving them 3 turnovers. What is the final score if we have just one back.

Does Clelin Ferrell remind anybody else of Vic Beasley?

All throughout the game I kept seeing a DE getting into the backfield before anybody else and every time it was #99

Clelin could end up being the best DE at Clemson this decade. And that's saying a lot. He has all the physical and mental tools, combined with a stupid amount of DT talent to provide 1v1 situations. He and Bryant are going to ruin teams this year.
