Make no mistake about it, this was a HUGE win for us, and I'll take an ugly win any day. It just seems that no matter who we play, top to bottom, it doesn't seem to matter; it is a mighty struggle for us. I can't determine if there is just that much parity or if we just play up/down to the competition.
Anyway, an absolutely amazing season so far. Keep the wins coming, however you have to get 'em!

Really a remarkable difference in the close games this team wins and the many ways it found to lose these games in the past - too many to number.

that wasn't an ugly game except when the refs got whistle happy. Good offense, clutch free throws, great D to close things out. Nothing ugly about that.
Except for Pitt, any ACC team can beat another one. And on the road, an 8 point win against anyone is hardly ugly

How a foul is called on us when the Wake player lowers his shoulder and rams our guy to the floor is beyond me. Mind you this was far away from the basket...

That's pretty much every road win by every team in the ACC this year. There is parity in that 14 of 15 teams have a chance on any given night, especially at home

to be ugly at all. That includes 46% on threes and 88% on free throws in the second half, not to mention tough zone defense in crunch time to shut down Wake and stop their offensive momentum.
We had multiple players step up with key plays. We won on the road by 8. What's ugly about that?

Call me crazy, but I don't call it ugly when you have single digit turnovers, shoot 85% from the line (including something like 8 for 8 the last 2 1/2 minutes of the game) and win the rebounding advantage on the road in the ACC.

some FT's then he shifted to setting his eyes on the floor while dribbling it in and squaring the basket only during the shot. He was lights out from there. Great team effort. We're a tough out.

Never seen an ugly WIN. Seen some that had me gritting my tooth ( )but never ugly when it was a win.
I do enjoy a good pounding of the other team but close wins ain't ugly.

There isn’t an ugly win to me. We are winning the games we should have won last year. Every close game we had last year we couldn’t finish and this year the team is playing to finish. To me that equals a good win with everyone playing together.

Lots of talented teams and good players. Just about every ACC team cares about basketball, and that is reflected in the fact that wins are hard to come by. The fact that we are 8-3 is nothing short of incredible.
I disagree that these are ugly wins. They are things of beauty if you ask me!
