Does anybody know why Bellamy isn't getting more carries?

I saw on that article that was posted not long ago about him that he only has a few carries on the year, and a couple have gone for TDs. Since he is playing at such a small school I would think he would be easily starting, so does anybody know something I don't? Anyways, hope he gets back to Clemson, seems like he is really turning the corner academically. Go Tigers!

It might be that he fumbles incessantly and isn't really all that good at playing football.

I saw Bellamy (Charlotte HS) and Watkins (SFMHS) play many times in HS and Bellamy was by far the better player. Much better than Noel Devine (NFMHS)of WVU fame too. Plus he was a two time 100 meter State Champ in Florida as a 10th and 11th grader. Watkins was a 200M champ. Right in the same class as Earnest Graham (mariner), Deion Sanders (NFMHS), and Eggerin James (Immokalee) as one best RB out of SWFL.

I've missed a few Clemson home games in 40 years, weddings, funerals, and stuff like that. Let's say they play 6 home games a year: 6 X 40 = 240, now subtract the games I've missed about 30, 240 - 30 = 210, so I've seen about 210 Clemson home games in the last 40 years. Sounds like you go to a lot of high school games. What is your take on MB? I am really disappointed cause we really need him.

play just enough to stay in shape, not get too rusty, and avoid injury so he can come back to Clemson. We already know he can play.

getting his grades in order and mind right. The offense they run their is an option attack, and his mentors have probably told him not to bother taking the time to really learn the playbook or the schemes. His talent is undeniable, and what he does on the football field at this junior college really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of his eventual football career, and I think everyone realizes that.

because he's not good enough, but could be by design, to keep him free from injury while he focuses on the real reason he's there, to get his grades up so he can return to Clemson.

Some of these responses sounds as if MB gets to decide how many carries he gets. That is obviously far from the truth. No - there is another problem, and it's still not answered here. I guess we don't know why he doesn't get more carries, since he seems to be doing well when he does get the chances.
My guess - and only a guess - is that he still doesn't block well when he's not carrying the ball, and the coaches treat him just like we treated him. If you don't earn the carries, you don't get them. IMO - it almost seems as he still doesn't want to put in the effort that is required to be a star. I would be in shock if he ever wears ORANGE again, and would freaking pass out if he ever became a star RB here at CLEMSON. Won't happen.
That said - I wish him the best.
