Just got in from my annual

All of my numbers are better than last year’s except my good cholesterol is still too low

Colonoscopy in May but other than that keep doing what I’ve been doing and he’ll see me next year.

He doesn’t take insurance- bloodwork (drawn last week), almost an hour with him during exam and just shooting the breeze, plus the nurse taking vitals etc out the door for $220 cash money in an hour and 15 minutes.

$30 less than my co pay at my old dr who might give you 10 minutes if he was in a good mood.

sons sports like basketball and football. We are all now good friends. They both are ER docs and he has started his own practice. It’s so amazing. Like you $300 in and out and no worries about further billing, etc.

When the two kids got strep and medicine from their doc, he just sent in two scripts for my wife and I. No visit and no copay just did it.

It’s amazing and I am so happy you will be kicking around here for another year.

I bet his water fountain worked.

Glad to hear the good health news. My numbers do the same thing. All numbers healthy and cholesterol has never broken 120, but my entire life my HDL’s have been a little low.

I like my PCP, but that's the reason my dad left him like a decade ago.

You can show up on time for your scheduled appointment, and they might get you in quickly, or you might wait 45 minutes. These aren't surgeries or procedures like in the previous post, these are just doc visits for prescription refills or "my arm hurts" or "I think I have a sinus infection" or whatever. Good guy, but he cycles in and out of 4-5 patient rooms and gives each person a 2-3 minutes, unless you have questions and you can maybe bend his ear for 5 or 10.

I'm just kinda lazy and haven't been pushed far enough to switch yet.
