one of the major reasons for not overturning the Miami/Duke outcome was the effect it would have caused Vegas and the gambling industry?

I wonder how Vegas/online would handle that?

No, it wasn't overturned because that isn't within the rules

Once the refs say game over and leave the field, the score cannot be changed. Sure, there were errors on that last play, but do you think those were the only errors made be the officiating crew? There were others earlier that went against Miami. And I am certainly not a Miami fan.
