Do you remember 1998? Man, I sure do. It was my freshman year. Moved into Johnstone on a rainy day. Football and hope were on the horizon. Then came the season. We went 3-8. Tommy West was fired before it was over but coached his last game against the coots and pulled off a win. Despite the fleeting glee of victory, the reality was Clemson was looking into the football abyss of irrelevance.

It would take another 14 years or so until there was hope and a few years later joy. I may not always agree with the decisions Coach makes. I may even voice my displeasure with the outcomes. But, I wouldn’t trade Coach Swinney for anyone.

Thats exactly right! Who would these people that hate Dabo right now rather have? Beamer, TE, Jimbo Fisher, B Napier, Heupel, Prime, Harbaugh, Kirby, Crysn Day? Oh I know, BV, but I doubt very likely he would want anything to do with Clemson if we were so bold and dumb enough to run off Dabo.

I rather stick with Dabo and help him make the right moves to get us there again.
