#2 made a GREAT effort to run him down and strip the ball a foot before he crossed the goal line. Huge play that turned things around. Well, look at the play where the Pitt runner got around our corner on Pitt's first scoring drive. Look at how our DB just jogged down the field after him. I could not believe it when he was not immediiately taken out of the game. Makes me wonder what our DB coach is watching.

I’ll have to rewatch that play from yesterday. And yes that play last year saved us.

Yes, I saw it and thought the same. I know he thought he had no shot at catching him so why give the effort. Well I say give the freaking effort because your team and coaches and fans are watching and is it going to kill you to do a 50 or 60 yard sprint?

tripped up the runner..In the UNC game ..NATE was there to make the strip.

No doubt the culture is different. My guess is that the depth isn't there to really challenge players or NIL agreements makes it harder to bench dudes.
