Our is it a wait and see?

That appears to be a good strategy

He's a great pass rusher, and he pursues well to the ball, but it appears that the one place he sometimes struggles is with directly occupying a run gap.

Larger LT's shut him down
Jul 30, 2013, 2:06 AM
|
|
Michigan's Taylor Lewan (6'7 310) owned him. LSU's Chris Faulk (6'6 320) dominated him. And Arkansas LT Brey Cook (6-7, 310) also shut him down completely.
Makes me wonder how Clownboy will do in the league versus equal competition.

Nobody will say it from a media perspective because they don't wanna tee off the $eC fans. I think journalist are being taught to only write highly of those guys.
Each year they find a darling player, give em a jazzy nickname, watch Herbstreet and Musburger fall in love, and wait for Gruden to say, ''And this guy is just a football player. This guy plays hard. This guys got a high motor.''

maybe it's because when you have to count games where he has multiple tackles for loss (2 vs both michigan and arkansas) as bad games it means he actually is a pretty #### good player

He was not shut out in those games. People who say he was dominated show a total lack of understanding of football. He caused turnovers in both the Michigan and Arkansas game. he was very disruptive in the LSU game

ha i think Clemson was the only team last year that didnt chip or double team him. Well he had 4.5 sacks in that game so yeah sure block him one on one again with your shut down lineman.

No, just give the ball to a William Perry-esque player and

tell him Clowney was talking about his mamma.
For real though, wouldn't it had been funny if we got Nkemdiche, used him as a RB in certain situations as we promised we would, and then had him have a go at Clowney...Clash of the Titans...

There are 11 other games before we need to even be thinking about your question. I am as rabid a Tiger fan as anyone on this board, but I am also one of those who believes the SCar game is no more important to our chances of getting to Pasedena than the SC State game.
GO TIGERS !!!!!!!!!
