Mystery Road in 1989. There were maybe 30 people there, and one of the most fun shows I've seen. They played this song and I remember them mentioning it was originally going to be on Mystery Road, but they decided not to.

I'd put that experience right up there with seeing REM play a surprise warm-up gig in a small bar in Athens in 1989 prepping for the Green tour.
