DJU never really loses the game

but he never goes out and wins it either. Plays very cautious.

That’s why you have all those excuses like the defense didn’t play well or the offensive line was the problem or the running game wasn’t good, or playcalling was the issue.

At the end of the day you gotta have guys that go beyond expectations and make a play. Only saw DJU do that against Notre dame in year 1 and Wake in his final season.

I mostly agree, with a big exception of the 2021 Pitt Game:

I pretty much agree. He did not play exceptionally well yesterday, but I didn't think he lost it ..... or would have won it. He is pretty much the same QB that he was at Clemson. FSU, as a team, I think, lost that game. Their line of scrimmage was not dominant at all. I think we also just need to give GT a bunch of credit ....... great coaching for sure! I like Brent Key, but I get the feeling that he is starting to fell a little too good about himself and at some point reality may set in that they are not as good as he thinks. I guess we will see.

The loss to the coots was on him. 100% on him.

Dabo tried to out special teams coach Beamer in that Coot game. It burnt us badly twice and we paid for it on the scoreboard. IMO that was the difference between winning and losing, no other player or play ultimately overcame those blunders.

DJ is too slow, methodical and inaccurate for D-1 football.***

I will never forget that we were 10-1 and ranked just outside the top-5 when we played South Carolina

DJ lost that game for us. I know Antonio muffed the punt, but you know how it is. DJ missed many opportunities in that game.

We should’ve been in the playoff

Wasn’t he like 8/28 passing that game?

8/29 for just 99 yards. 99 yards for an entire game. That's just not going to cut it.

You cant blame DJ for losing the game, but you cant blame him for winning it.***

He’s just not a winner. He’s not a bad quarterback but he doesn’t win.

It is demoralizing for a team and the receiving corps to see so many wide open players missed by DJ...he may have a problem with peripheral vision and anticipation of receivers coming open! That feeling can rub off on everyone and ruin the game...the D can't win em all!

The issue is that he was mediocre against Georgia tech. Georgia tech ranked 120 out of 130 teams in total defense last year. FSU play calling looked like they were starting a freshman or sophomore against a top defense.
