Assuming the Tigers beat the Wahoos on Saturday, next week's game vs. Miami will be a matchup of 2 Top 10 Teams.
This one is easy: Can you name the last matchup between Top 10 Teams in Death Valley?
The real question: Can you name the last matchup in Death Valley between teams that finished in the Top 10?
Hint: It's more recent than you think it is.

Correct on the first one, incorrect on the second one. I figured ND would be a lot of people's guesses. ND actually finished 10-3, #11 in the AP, #12 in the Coaches Poll in 2015.

You're probably thinking of the 2013 UGA game - #8 Clemson vs. #5 UGA.
It's been more recent than that on both counts. UGA actually ended up 8-5 and unranked in 2013.

Louisville is the first answer.
The answer for teams finishing in the top 10 is alluding everyone because so many have erased it from their memory.
That would be Clemson vs FSU in 2013. Clemson finished ranked 8th in the country and FSU won the national championship.

Correct on the first question.
Incorrect on the 2nd. You're right both those teams finished in the Top 10 (FSU #1 and Clemson #7), it's actually more recent than that believe it or not.

Nevermind.
Right team, wrong game.
I originally read it as top 10 at the time of the game and at the end of the season.
Both teams were not top 10 at the time of the game but the last game in Death Valley where teams finished in the top 10 was I believe FSU 2015.
Clemson finished 2nd and FSU finished 8th.

In that case, you would've been right but it's two separate questions.
2015 FSU actually finished 10-3 and #14. They were also #17 at the time they played the #1 Tigers in DV.

Did you know off the top of your head or did you have to look it up?
2017 Auburn was ranked #13 when the #3 Clemson Tigers beat them in 2013 but finished #10 in the AP Poll (despite a 10-4 record).

As to the last time two teams that finished in the top ten (AP) that played in Death Valley that year...I would say 2017, Clemson - Auburn.
