he has said he is a West Coast guy and indications are he will commit to Washington. But he says distance is not an issue and our Staff has been known to pull a rabbit out of a hat or in this case a 300 LB DT. Go Tigers!

Clemson has less than 1% chance here. He is just going to "shock the world" and pick the school everyone thought he'd pick all along.

…..…………… I give us a slightly better chance here for a couple reasons. 1. Clemson has been at or right under the top the last few years. 2. He understands how much they think of him; to go all the way to the west coast to seek his services out. 3. Coach V. & Coach Bates. 4. Most if not all these guys who get offered think they are the best thing since sliced muffin tops; and they want to be offered like it. He could easily choose a wc team. But, I give CU about a 25% chance because of the recent success and the fact he is aware of how difficult getting an offer from a ACC team all the way across the country is.

and we get an OV for the USuCk game. he flips his commit that weekend and signs early with us.
if it is a high profile announcement and it is not us, then he probably does not take an OV and certainly does not flip to us...
i really believe that either we are too late to the table or we get him right before the early signing period...

Some recent guys we have gotten after late offers , who appeared headed elsewhere . Mark Fields , Christian Wilkins and Travis Etienne .
I think this kid is really considering us , and I would love to pull him out of the west coast . Clemson brand is Pan-American these days .

Antioch is about 12 miles down the road.....I would certainly never do anything out of bounds but send a phone number.....I could try to persuade him to go to Clemson...LOL....OR even better though I have no idea if it's legal or not..turn the Northern California Clemson Club on to help persuade him....

...to Clemson without a visit beforehand. Freshman move in day was the second time I had been on campus...the first time was freshman orientation a few weeks prior to that. So, it does happen!

Great guy and player. He comes to Clemson, he'll be an All American and first round draft pick in the NFL. I hope he notices that our current front four defensive linemen are projected to go in the first round of the NFL draft next year. Come on down, big guy!

If this young man is making his verbal commitment this week, he will have to take a similar leap of faith.
But, since the commitment is non- binding, I suppose it’s not that far out of the realm of possibility if the coaches have made a great personal impression on him.
I guess we’ll see.

and Clemson is a coveted offer nowadays. I think he's going elsewhere and Clemson is primarily in the mix to up the interest level. Now if he's genuinely interested and takes a visit this fall, perhaps we can pick him up before NSD.
