our last 5 possessions? If so, could that have been a significant reason to lose the game, i.e. we allowed the refs to have a chance to take the game away?
Just asking.........

You didnt watch the game, so your opinion is void. There are multiple reasons a team loses a game. turnovers, missing open 3's, missing an open layup on an and 1, etc.
No team plays perfect every single game. When the refs are blatantly one sided the ENTIRE game, it's incredibly frustrating.

This. We made mistakes but were in position to win. Fully expected a foul on the last possession. Happens every time. Looked like a bad call but Duke benefited from years of paying the conference bills in basketball.

You left out missing free throws at critical times and giving the other team a free time out when they badly needed it.
I watched every second of the game and yea, we did all those things. So did the refs.

To be fair to Scheff - coaches had our offense spread much further out

there in our halfcourt possessions late game, further from the basket, further from each other, than we had been utilizing all game prior. I guess this is milk the clock strategy? Just about every pass we were attempting on O when we had the lead late with opportunities to expand it were longer and more difficult than we had been employing leading up. We're making those plays when we were set up tighter around the arc earlier - that's been a real strength for this team this season in moving the ball well around the perimeter. That was a strategy shift. Was Scheff lazy with passes or was the player placement strategy simply asking too much of him there?

and they were a major contributing factor to our loss. You could tell our guys were anxious when we had the lead at the end. I watched the game, so my opinion is not void.

I hear u. Players gotta play, plenty of issues in the mirror. But watching another blue blood game in tobacco road in this “conference” should break the straw, been going on for 50+ years

Sheflein had 3 of them back to back to back. Before the last turnover on the entry pas to TJ I told my wife don’t let sheflein have the ball. Well he did and then threw it away. He is a hoss on the boards but Brad and other players need to realize each team mates abilities and limitations.

#### ..didn’t know all four turnovers involved Shef.
Guards also need to come hard to ball for hand offs. But Shef has to do better.
Never will understand the TO called by CBB on Duke’s last possession. I rather have them scramble instead of a set play. JMO
