Yep, when they lose, they lose bc it's something they did or didn't do. It's bc we let off the gas since we didn't score but 3 point until 6 seconds was left in the game, and we just stopped trying!!!

Do they teach the SEC coaches and players how to make excuses for out of conference losses? I'm serious. S.C., Alabama and now, for the second year, TA&M cannot accept that they were beaten. It's always something they did or didn't do, and nothing that we did. I agree, Mond missed a wide open receiver. So did Lawrence, twice by my count. And we missed a chip shot field goal. Last year we missed some interceptions that we should have made. That's the way things go. Just shut up, say "good game," and get on the bus. Remember when we lost at Syracuse two years ago. What did Dabo do? Went over in the 'cuse locker room to congratulate them. He could have said, "Nice win - too bad our first string QB wasn't able to play the whole game." I'm glad TA&M and their coach who played a QB at FSU that should have been suspended (would have been had he been at CU) so he could win a Natty, are now in the rearview mirror. I hope they stay there.

Hilarious. They had a great plan. Clemson did the same things over and over and TAMU had practiced against those plays all week. Then TAMU took their foot off the gas?
TAMU went up 3-0 and thought the game was over? Really?

I think I could say almost the same thing about Clemson. We didn't execute on some plays and some drives and left points on the field. Bottom line, A&M got beat by a team who didn't execute perfectly. We are a VERY good team who will get better over the season.
I just think is is tough for teams from the SEC to match up against ACC teams such as Clemson. It just means more. ??

My daughter and her family live in Greenville, SC and our plan is to retire and move to Greenville or nearby. You fellas don't have a clue what it's like to have to share a state with Aggys. They are the worst, and I am also a Longhorn fan and the way they act is embarrassing to my state. Excuses? Bwahaha, you haven't heard anything yet. Those guys never lose a game, they just run out of time even if they are down 45-0. There are a few nice ones around, but I can count them on my fingers.
My only regret is that Clemson didn't score more points, like 50.

universe. There are 100 reasons why any individual player doesn't "execute" on any individual play and many of those reasons aren't things that player can possibly overcome.

Of course they let off the gas, their gas tank was empty. Dabo even said they kept the playbook closed as much as possible so as not to tip their hand to others what they could run, once they realized TA&M was DONE. They got beat by a superior team period.

hear an SEC team come out after a game and say they just got their tails BEAT. There are all just like a guy I used to play golf with many years ago. He never hit a bad shot that was his fault. Someone moved, the sun was in his eyes, or butterflies were flapping too loud in the adjacent meadow.
