THE CROWD:
Probably 50% had never been to DV before. Total confusion about finding seats, not to mention finding parking lots/spots.
There was a significant county fair contingent, obese and constantly going to concessions keeping aisles crowded.
Annoying, screaming little girls are, well, annoying.
THERE WERE 81,500 PEOPLE THERE!

THE TRAFFIC:
Luckily i had this nailed. Got parking spot in Tiger Park. Drove in and out thru Willmo’s hood, easily avoiding the numskulls who had no clue where they were going.
Traffic attendants were stopping every car coming into the Esso Club area, thus bringing traffic to a snail’s crawl.

THE GAME:
The pseudo-baseball game was somewhat secondary to the overall music, mania, Banana characters running thru stands throwing out donuts, yellow foam balls, t-shirts. There were so many distractions, you forget the game is going on.
Some of the players are indeed pretty talented catching long flyballs behind their backs.

Same with the people that had never been there before. Which, given some of the people I saw with out of state tags, kinda makes sense.

If you’d never been able to get tickets before, this was a good opportunity to have a better shot at it.
