Obviously, we don't know who will declare and there could be some more transfers, but how do you guys think we look next year? Didn't Dabo say this group has the most sophomores out of anyone else in the country? Or that we were really young or something? That can only be good news for next year.

Bonus points.... I'm really excited about RB Gideon. I know Mafah is done, but I think he will be electric and provide some immediate depth.

RB for next year:

Between Jay Haynes, Ezeumoni, and Gideon Davidson, we should have at least one excellent option at RB. Not forgetting Jarvis Green as a potential breakout candidate for a bunch of snaps.

It would be far preferable to have two very good RBs, such as what we had with Shipley and Mafah last year.

Should have 7 starters on Offense and 8 on defense returning. Just depends on the NFL and Portal.

One of the problems that has been different than before the portal is that we seem to face several teams full of seniors now. Very few don’t play a veteran experienced QB now. This is why so many teams are competitive now. We may have lost to Georgia but we don’t lose to Louisville or SC without their portal guys. Louisville ranked 11th and SC ranked 13th with their transfer class last year. Louisville brought in 30 and SC 22. Neither one of these teams without their use of the portal and paying these mercenaries would have had over 6 wins. Every year it is going to be competitive now with teams that use to have losing records. We can’t beat everyone like we did without using the portal to complete our team.
