I think they are capable of making the Sweet Sixteen.
Timing is everything. We can’t afford to have 20 turnover games once tournament play starts. Ditto for cold shooting streaks.

Lots of season left. We need to get fully healthy and stay healthy. We need to continue getting better.
I believe we are capable of making the Sweet 16, but we have a lot of work to do between now and then.

It’s never too late to call out some nimrod making wild predictions as if it were a certainty. Would be better if the fringe guys could support the coach and team while they are playing instead of trolling about the dance which happens several weeks from now.

Not walking back on previous statements but my opinion is that. Its like a bhole. We all got one. Saying that I still say the pregane prayer for the players is , please god just keep coach the helllll out of our way!!! Lol
Seriously I think if cards fall right we should be partners the 8. Being a been there done that bball fan my heart says don't get hopes up. I'm a fierce Clemson bball fan. Like sit in sidelines and make iptay guys uncomfortable from my energetic style of Fandom.

I have followed Clemson Bball since the mid-60's. The post made by another Tnetter recently discussed the 4 Mahaffey brothers who played at Clemson, and that warmed my heart. Swirhing to the issue at hand, the statement that we will do well once we get outside of the ACC
is accurate. Our first tourney team in 79-80 (I think) with Coach Bill Foster had big man center Moose Campbell. Like every other Clemson center before and since, when we play in the ACC, ir happens too frequently that our centers get into foul trouble within 5 minutes. With Campbell, it usually took only about 3 minutes. In the NCAA Tournament, without the ACC refs, Campbell had no foul trouble problems, and he was a huge contributor to our run to the Elite Eight. This has happened in other years when we made it to NCAA tourney. In the Elden Campbell/Dale Davis era, when we made the NCAA tournament 2 times, during the regular season Elden Campbell got into early foul trouble many games, especially if we were playing Duke of UNC, and especially on the road. This did not happen to him in the ACC Tournament. So if we escape the ACC zebras, I think he same thing will happen with PJ Hall. If he can give us 30 to 32 minute a game without would tourble, watch out. Go Tigers.

Hall is averaging 32 minutes per game in ACC play.
