I apologize for raising your parent's generation. I know they are the ones that made you soft and the ones who made you feel special. My generation was raised hard and we worked for what we got. We gave your parents, our children, way more than they earned.
Not long ago men were men. Boys who want to become men were already playing the part by the time they were your age. If we found mold we'd buy a $1 bottle of bleach and a fifty cent brush and take care of it.
Now, the children would point out the problem to mama and ask her to fix it. They didn't tell daddy cause daddy was a man and he'd assign the cleanup duty to the children.
If MEN went to work and there wasn't a lunch counter MEN would carry a lunch. Ain't ya'll got no sammich makers down there?
Ya'll know what I think? I think you should be happy to have the opportunity for a college degree instead of going off to the desert to fight or working in a cotton mill.
Now cleanup that frigging mold, pack yourself a lunch, strap on the pads, and act like men by keeping your committment. You just might make manhood someday if you start acting like men now.

in the desert ? we have an all volunteer military, men and women that are willing to die to keep our freedoms intact. that is a bs comment. i CHOSE to go in the military, as did my father, and his. yes, i could have went to college, and even had letters of inquiry for baseball sent to me from carson-newman. my academics were good enough ( jr. beta throughout hs, hey, i was never going to be a brain surgeon, i didn't study enough, nor care to)

I also chose to serve, as have all our young people in the past 40ish years that join the military. Men who commit to serving, when called, go fight in deserts or jungles without question to how nice it is. I don't think he was being derogatory to the military. At last I hope not.

I'm not sure where that crap came from either.
Believe me. . .this generation in particular has done an azzload of "going off to the desert to fight" at the behest of the previous generations.

OSHA states Chlorox does not kill mold and does not recommend it. It is only good for sanitizing the surface area. To kil mold, you have to get to the root of the mold. So, there goes that theory.

the players are right. They had to ride in a bus all the way up to Illinois to play a game, while the team they played another historically black college got a plane ride. And no you didn't raise their parent's generation. You haven't raised anybody's generation. You haven't done anything to make society a better place. Quite arrogant, for an average joe, to claim he has raised a generation of Americans, when you have done nothing to better society.
