Sanders brought his parents and three little sisters to Clemson, and it was a “phenomenal job” that the Tigers did for him. “I was talking to Coach Luke and Coach Swinney, they expressed that I’m the number one priority in the class of 2025. And not only did they say it, but they showed it the whole day we were there. So I had an amazing time. Me and my family, we were happy to be there,” Sanders said.

Specifically with his family, Sanders said that’s his “number one priority” to make sure they’re happy. If that’s the case, he is too and that plays a heavy hand in his recruitment. On the same note, Swinney made a promise to Sanders’ mother if he should decide to come to Clemson. She’ll have full access to every practice “no matter what” and that meant a lot to both of them.

“She was super happy about that. So then my little sisters, they had an amazing time. The coaching staff is embracing them like they embraced me, which is really, really cool to know that they’ll have a relationship with those guys outside of just me being a football player. So that was pretty cool, but yeah, definitely having that relationship with the whole entire coaching staff at Clemson is very unique compared to a lot of a lot of other schools that recruited me. Just that family atmosphere is just so genuine and true, and they’ve been showing that ever since they’ve been recruiting me,” Sanders said.

There’s been a coaching change on the offensive line with the introduction of Matt Luke, and the recruits seem to love their first experiences with him. Sanders is no exception, and that’s a bond growing very quickly as if the two have known each other for years.

“The relationship with Coach Luke is almost like I’ve known him for three years. I mean, he’s just been very open and candid about everything he’s done in the past and what he’s looking forward to doing in the future with this future 2025 class. So I just love his transparency as a person. Just being 100 percent honest, because, you know, was such a short amount of time to get to understand who a person is, honesty is the best policy and just being straight up and being real. So I really enjoyed in understanding him as a person and a coach. He’s very passionate about family. He’s very passionate about his players. I loved everything about him so far,” Sanders said.

Spending a full day on campus was a great time for Sanders, but going to head coach Dabo Swinney’s house that night was “a dream come true” that left him “all smiles” being brought into the home with open arms. Another thing Sanders keyed on was hearing the testimonies of current Clemson players, and that also helped him garner more respect for Luke given how these players haven’t been coached by him for long.

This all circles back around to his relationship with Swinney and the Tigers. He’s the most coveted player in the nation, and Swinney has made it very clear how much it means to bring Sanders to this program.

“Coach Swinney has been very clear since my freshman year that I was going to be the leader of that 2025 class. Being the national champion when we come to Clemson. So he’s continued to show that as recruiting has amped up, but it definitely yesterday, it was just a surreal moment. He was with me, my family, my three younger sisters, just showing us that I really mattered to the Clemson family, and that I’m needed, not just wanted to come be a part of the program, but needed to make a difference and become a leader on that team. So it was just a great experience to be with him and everything he showed was was phenomenal,” Sanders said.

Sanders is still taking it “day by day” in his recruiting but that doesn’t mean Clemson didn’t make a big move Saturday. He’s already confirmed he will be taking his official visit when the Tigers’ have that weekend at the end of May. He said that he will make a decision before his Senior year, and it will most likely be in August.

I can't help but wonder if that comment about access to practices is because some other schools are trying to negatively portray Dabo's practices after all that TK BS.

Hopefully the other 2 OT's committing doesn't effect anything. We need all the help we can get the line. It shouldn't tho, we seem to have more Guards than Tackles lined up for the future.
