Long, but great interview. Pollack does a good job of asking a question and then letting Dabo give a full answer with no interruptions. One of the distinct advantages of streaming interviews. Not looking for 10 second sound bites, not looking at the clock knowing a commercial break is coming.

I would guess not but instead will take it in at your place with your hoard of delicious vittles & liquid refreshments.
I have decided to forgo that game as my one game to see in person and have chosen the ND instead..
since I believe IF Tigers should lose to Noles, then the game with Irish will be even more important.

Thanks to some friends I have met on T-net I'm getting invited to a game this year. My request was for any game EXCEPT the FSU game. I did not want to be the guest of a Clemson fan and be cheering for FSU.
I will tell y'all that you have made am impact on me. I want FSU to win. But, I actually talk more football on T-net than I do with my FSU buddies. I probably know more about the Clemson team this year than I do about FSU. And, if Clemson wins, I will not be upset.
Maybe it's because of all the info I have on Clemson my analysis of the game is as follows: This is the first time since 2017 or 18 that I think FSU has the talent and coaching to be competitive. I expect it to be a close game between two of the top 5 or 6 teams in the country. But, I will give the edge (slight) to Clemson.

And I have watched them under Norvelle very closely. They will be back in the thick of things here soon. I am not 100% convinced it is this year, but close. And certainly next year.

Makes you proud to be a Clemson man. I have said many times that if Dabo was coaching somewhere else, I would be cheering for him because he does it right.

If Jimbo Fisher were the coach at Clemson I definitely wouldn't be cheering for Clemson as my second favorite team.

Great post! Thanks for sharing.
The one thing that really stood out to me was this Dabo quote: "The crazier it's gotten (regarding NIL, transfer protal, etc.), the better it's been for Clemson."
That's really encouraging to hear because it's the opposite of the narrative we keep hearing. It's nice to see that these recruits and parents still respect the way Dabo runs his program and can see the return on investment, despite how much NIL money is involved.

Anyone who doubts Dabo should watch this. He has a plan and a vision. Nothing will get in the way of his vision. He has been ready to be a head coach and implement his plan long before he was ever here at Clemson. We will lose coaches and coordinators and recruiting battles, but as long as we have Dabo there is a plan for what happens already in place. Terry Don Phillips knew what he had and knew what he was doing when he hired this man. Just sit back and enjoy having Dabo here while it last. It won’t last forever, but I’m sure he has a plan in place for when that time comes too! Go Tigers 🐅 !!

BTW, Dabo made a comment ...

... I dont' remember his exact words, but my translation is:
Things are crazy now. But, we know where we will end up. We will end up with a group of schools breaking football away from the NCAA and setting up a different governing body. Clemson will be in that group. Nobody knows exactly how or when it will happen, but we all know it will happen.

This was absolutely worth the hour to watch. We have an amazing man leading our players and team. We can all get wrapped up in Wins and Losses but at the end of the day its about those guys and the lives they live after they are done with football.

You are also very well spoken in that you generally speak of your opinions and/or facts without degrading anyone

He laid out his principles. I don't think being a little more outcome driven would necessarily negate what he believes in.
