Just a thought. Maybe he could say, no he's fine and leave it at that. He said over 500 words ranting about it just giving more stuff for the media hype.

I understand Dabo has an obligation as the head coach to answer questions from the media, but I also understand his frustration. We all know he treats his players as if they were his own and when he feels they are being attacked for whatever reasons, he turns into mama bear. I for one am glad he sticks up for his players the way he does.

You'll notice right away that anytime someone goes after one of his players or his team's performance, he brings all the attention right back to himself, usually with an "outburst". Every time. They may look like angry rants to the world, but they're cool and calculated and precise. You'll notice in the next 24 hours how everyone's talking about Dabo's rant and not Lawrence. Mission accomplished.

The media created all the hype for this season, not Dabo and not the team. Media loves to build someone up and then tear them down. All of the 24 radio and tv talk shows have got to have something to talk about. Talking about first downs and tackling gets boring so they have to have some drama to keep their audience.

For all the times he puts up with assanine questions, he’s allowed to go off once in awhile. Same reaction to reporter who asked about ##########. Dabo is human too and he has his limits. All in!

Good for Dabo! Its amazing how the media and many fans seem to think they should know things like what is said in private meeting or practices or peoples private medical records. Today it seems everybody wants to spread a rumor with no interest in whether it's true or not. Did you ever see an Exec for any major corporation (which Universities are) asked what was said in the board room????
