1. Establish the run with Mafah between the tackles.
2. Then, stretch the field horizontally by throwing swing passes and bubble screens.
3. Then, run Mafah between tackles.
4. Don't make mistakes. Trust the defense. Win a low scoring game.
I'm probably wrong on all 4 points, but that is what I, unintelligent fan, saw.

We will never know bc whatever the plan was, it got blown up and our OC didn't adjust so he just started calling random nonsense

Yup, Bret. The Georgia defensive plan was to:
1) Stop the run
2) Press the short throws
3) Attack the QB
All worked to perfection...

...after week one.
Right now, I'm worried about BC. If our effort against them is not SIGNIFICANTLY better than it was against GT, then Miami is just one of 5 or 6 teams I'm worried about.
And, my worries about FSU are the same as they are about Clemson.
BC is gonna load the box, play cover 1 and dare DJ to beat them vertically. Last week that is what GT did and FSU didn't even try to throw it vertically until they got down 21-14 late in the game.

The portal is not a panacea and I think Dabo's right to be selective. Maybe that limits your possible matches, but you don't want to bring in a toxic personality into the locker room. Cade's probably not the right guy, but it's not just him. Offense hasn't been the same since Tony and Jeff left (esp. the WRs).
