We’ve been persevering for 5 years, knowing this day was going to come.
Dabo has never taken the portal seriously. He’s constantly told us that he believes in his guys. That we can still win by recruiting and developing. This was the year Dabo proved his method could work.
It has been a spectacular failure. Wholesale changes have to be made. Dabo isn’t the guy to make those changes.

2026 will be worse than this year if we don’t overhaul the roster through the portal. A 12-15 person transfer class will need to happen.
That would involve Dabo cutting unproductive players. That goes against his entire philosophy. Since that won’t happen, we’ll continue to suck.

The piece that all of the “Fire Dabo’s” are missing is that Dabo can take a job at another school and it only cost him $4 million. And yes, it would be dumb as heck to fire a coach and pay them $60 million.
My guess is not a one of the “Fire Dabo’s” chirping on here is willing to front the amount. If so, quit typing and put your money where your keyboard mouth is!

we found out real quick that we weren't on the same level of Texas........they punched us in the face then kept us at arms length the rest of the way.
we went 0-3 vs OOC P4 teams last year
we are 9-16 vs P4/5 teams w/ 8+ wins since 2021
we are 1-8 vs OOC P4/5 teams w/ 8+ wins since 2021
the ONLY reason we were in the playoffs last year is b/c we won the pathetic ACC and they HAD to put us in..............we've been in an obvious downward spiral quite frankly since the 2020 semis and culminating with the lowest of lows this year.

Backed into it? Ok big guy 😂 The goal is to put yourself in position to compete for a title by making the playoffs. Clemson did that last year. Sure we lost in the first round but we were one of a few teams to be in the playoffs. Again one team wins the Natty and only a few make the playoffs. None of your whining about how we got there changes that.
