And, I just posted a thread from a guy who probably does know, from the Aggie perspective, and he says Dabo is not nor ever has been a candidate.

They have settled on bringing Mike Elko back from Duke. There's some other posts going up on the bored now so I won't be redundant. He makes sense for them.

People always speculate that Dabo might go to A&M due to his connection to Gene Stallings. Gene is a legend in Aggieland, and used to be on the board of regents. I don't think there was ever a chance Dabo would go, or they'd try to get him, because to build a program the way Dabo wants takes time, and I'm not sure many fanbases are that patient anymore. ####, most of us weren't that patient with Dabo when he was building.
