Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says that win was fun. Really proud of the seniors to leave undefeated against South Carolina. That was Clemson football tonight, he said.

Swinney: Unbelievable complete team effort. Knew we needed to stop the run and felt like we could create some turnovers. All three phases getting it done. Super proud of this team from how it started to now.

Swinney says they will use the week they're usually preparing for the ACCCG to go recruiting. Players will get to rest coming up before they find out a bowl opponent.

Swinney says they will have some Krispy Kreme doughnuts Monday after the shutout pitched tonight. Says the defense was fighting hard for the shutout.

Swinney: To go to six Playoffs and win six league championships in a row, sometimes you can lose your appreciation for how hard it is to win and what it takes. The perspective this year is really good and it's a really helpful thing for our football team. We're going to do everything we can to finish strong and we've got a great foundation in place for many years to come. No doubt this is a year that will serve us well.

Swinney's week next week will include being there to cheer for his son Clay and the Daniel Lions playing for back-to-back state titles on Friday. He said they will have a team meeting on Monday and then he will be out recruiting by that evening.
